Join us for monthly mental health spotlights that’ll discuss a range of topics such as community building, breaking limiting beliefs, self-care, grief, supporting survivors of trauma, and more! These events will take place 1-3 times per month from March through May and feature compelling speakers.

The speaker for this Mental Wellness Spotlight is Dr. Talia Moore. She’ll be discussing “understanding trauma and supporting survivors.” This powerful discussion will focus on healing, justice, and survivor support.

Dr. Talia Moore is a criminologist, associate professor, author, and Associate Director of the Trauma Recovery Center at the Alameda County Family Justice Center. With over a decade of experience in law enforcement and community corrections, she now leads a clinical team supporting survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault. Dr. Moore also hosts Want Moore with Dr. Moore: The Criminologist of the Bay, a podcast exploring the realities of the justice system.

Join Rafiki Coalition and Dr. Moore and discover how trauma impacts our communities—and how we can show up for survivors!
