This course is designed to support Black couples navigating the transitions of pregnancy and parenting. It focuses on strengthening relationships, addressing unique cultural and systemic challenges, and fostering emotional and practical readiness for parenthood. Participants will explore communication strategies, mental health resilience, shared parenting responsibilities, and culturally affirming practices to thrive as partners and parents.
About Dr. Jeffrey A. Suiter:
Dr. Jeffrey A. Suiter is a Detroit native and clinical psychologist whose holistic, culturally affirming approach empowers clients to heal, grow, and live authentically. With deep roots in Pro-Black consciousness and extensive experience in mental health leadership, Dr. Suiter creates safe, restorative spaces for self-discovery and resilience. Guided by Howard Thurman’s philosophy, he helps clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and purpose.
